Every year a group of my friends and I put on a Wiffleball Tournament in Western Pennsylvania. It’s not just an excuse to have fun either. Teams pay a small entry fee and after the cost of the event has been paid for we give the remaining money to charity. It’s grown into a large event, attracting upwards of 400 people annually. To keep a crowd of this size coming back we really needed to keep the event fresh in their minds. So in the off season we go alll out. We’re talking full scale social media campaigns, email blasts, and even a web site for early bird registration.
