The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum and research complex, with 19 museums, 9 research centers and more than 140 affiliate museums around the world. As you can imagine, an organization this large requires a wide variety of creative services. This is a selection of 3 very different projects I’ve put together for them. The first piece is a mailer sent to high profile Smithsonian members asking for donations. The second piece is a brochure promoting a lunch lecture series discussing Civil War era paintings and Native American cuisine. And lastly, the third piece is a poster for an exhibit that tells a story through shoes; representing various cultures and time periods, children are asked to look at the world in a new way.
